[Dublin, Ohio] September 16, 2024 – Two of the most brilliant and determined minds at EASE have been honored with this year’s Women in Supply Chain Award, presented by Food Logistics—a publication dedicated to the movement of products through the cold food supply chain—and Supply & Demand Chain Executive, a magazine that covers global supply chains. This prestigious award recognizes female leaders and executives in the supply chain whose accomplishments, mentorship, and examples set a benchmark for women at all levels of a company’s supply chain network.

Courtney Palmer EASE

Courtney Palmer, Business Development Manager, has been named a Rising Star, an accolade bestowed upon professionals under 40 whose achievements, hard work, and vision have significantly shaped the supply chain landscape.

“Courtney exemplifies how persistence and dedication can lead to extraordinary success in the supply chain industry,” said Stephen Spires, Director of Sales. “In the constantly evolving world of logistics, Courtney distinguishes herself not only through her accomplishments but by the way she achieves them. Her unique blend of tenacity, organizational skills, dedication, genuine charisma, and a bubbly personality enables her to deeply resonate with both clients and colleagues.”

Niki Godfrey EASE

Niki Godfrey, Warehouse Project Manager, has been recognized as a Trailblazer, a leader with over a decade of experience in supply chain and logistics who continues to pave the way for future generations of women in the field.

Niki joined EASE in December 2023, and in a remarkably short period, she plunged into the myriads of challenges that awaited her with a determination that speaks volumes about her character and capabilities. Furthermore, Niki brings a distinctive edge to her role at EASE, being a rare Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt.

“Niki’s approach to challenges is both refreshing and inspiring,” said Mathew Birdsall, General Manager at EASE Expedited. “Her ability to bridge communication gaps and champion effective teamwork exemplifies the profound impact of leadership that is both visionary and grounded in genuine care for people and process excellence.”

At EASE, there is a strong emphasis on customer-driven solutions and support. Both Courtney and Niki have consistently demonstrated their ability to step up and go above and beyond to ensure that customers come first.

“Every year, this award continues to amaze me. But this year especially, it’s all about the quality of the submissions. These women are doing remarkable things for their communities, organizations and teams and are paving the way for future young female leaders to be a part of an industry that’s making a difference,” says Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Co-Founder of the Women in Supply Chain Forum. “New this year, the award was broken down into Rising Stars, Trailblazers, DEI Pioneer and Workforce Innovator. From there, we named an overall winner per category and then four honorable mentions per category. This year’s applications were superb and made it next to impossible to just pick one winner. I’m so proud of these women and their achievements.”
