Third-party logistics provider joins the ranks of Open AI, YouTube, Taco Bell, and more
DUBLIN, OH (March 19, 2024)—EASE Logistics (EASE) has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024. The third-party logistics provider, headquartered in Dublin ranked ninth in the logistics category.
This year’s list shines a spotlight on businesses that are shaping industry and culture through their innovations.Alongside the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies, Fast Company recognizes 606 organizations across 58 sectors and regions—this is EASE’s first appearance on the list.
“This recognition means more to the EASE team than I can accurately describe. We started as a small brokerage in 2014 with big dreams to reimagine how the world thought about third-party logistics providers,” said Peter Coratola, Jr., founder and CEO of EASE. “This recognition from Fast Company is validation that our approach of embracing technology without sacrificing the care and attention of human-led customer service isn’t just noble, but is the next wave of logistics service.”
Notable achievements in innovation from the company over the past 12 months include:
- A multi-million dollar project in partnership with DriveOhio to deploy platooning technology that’s data will support the creation of federal legislations around automated driving systems (ADS). EASE currently serves as the host fleet for the Rural Automated Driving System project, one of the first in the country to be deployed on revenue-generating routes. A second ADS project with DriveOhio will launch in June 2024.
- The launch of the EASE Certified-Diverse Owned Carrier Network, a program designed to both support freight carriers across underrepresented groups take the necessary steps to obtain certification as a certified-diverse owned business and to help EASE customers allocate more of their transportation spend on diverse-owned businesses.
- The groundbreaking of a new 304,000 sq. ft. Logistics Center outside central Ohio that features a 30,000 sq. ft. Innovation Sandbox, built specifically to test and trial new technologies and startup ideas.
