[Dublin, OH, April 20] EASE Logistics has been recognized by Crowley as its 2022 Broker of the Year. This award comes a year after Crowley recognized EASE as a top-tier service provider and supporter of their dedicated Department of Defense (DoD) business. Since then, EASE has proven itself the best logistics company to partner with for government freight.

EASE Government Operations consistently goes above and beyond to support Crowley in fulfilling their awarded Defense Freight Transportation Services (DFTS) contract through the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency. Crowley holds the most prominent single logistics contract within the DoD.

“Security and timeliness are essential to working with government organizations,” says David Helton, director of EASE Government Operations. “Our communication and willingness to support Crowley at all times are why they consistently see us as a go-to carrier. Our Government Operations division is led by veterans who are situationally trained to adapt, influence, and take control of providing expected solutions. Thus, the team is uniquely equipped as an elite, mission-ready government partner.”

EASE Government Operations was established in 2021 and has quickly grown to be a reliable resource for the DoD and other facets of government. Since its inception, EASE Government Operations has notably served as a government partner, moving about 15k tons of COVID tests and personal protective equipment supplies to support pandemic relief efforts. EASE has also delivered emergency relief to areas of disaster throughout the U.S., including water and firefighter supplies for wildfire relief on the west coast and 45 truckloads of generators to Florida after Hurricane Ian for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The DoD further relies on EASE Government Operations for critical day-to-day support to feed and outfit our troops and keep them a fight-ready force.

EASE further supports the military by actively working on behalf of service men and women and their families who sacrifice for the country. Nearly 10% of EASE employees are veterans, and EASE regularly gives time, money, and resources to causes benefiting active, veteran, injured, and deceased military members and their families, including annual support of the Wounded Warrior Project and Wreaths Across America
