Peter Coratola Jr. is the Founder, President, and CEO of EASE Logistics. Since launching EASE in the back of his father’s office in 2014, Peter has grown it into one of the largest privately held companies in Columbus, recognized nationally for its innovation and service. Under his leadership, EASE has become a five-time Inc. 5000 company and was ranked the #1 transportation company on Fortune’s 2023 list of America’s Most Innovative Companies.
Driven to reshape the logistics industry, Peter emphasizes customer service, collaboration, innovation, sustainability, and philanthropy. His leadership has earned him numerous accolades.
A lifelong Dublin resident, Peter lives with his wife, Elizabeth, their three sons, and two dogs. An avid outdoorsman and passionate traveler, he enjoys spending time exploring nature and discovering new places with his family.

KEITH WARD
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
Keith is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at EASE with over 20 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management. He drives strategic planning, operational efficiency, and cross-functional execution to support growth and improvement. He began his career at General Electric while earning a double major in Business and Economics from Bellarmine University. Keith has held senior roles at Pacer Global Logistics and CEVA Logistics, leading teams and delivering results through data-driven leadership.
His industry expertise spans technology, food and beverage, automotive, and manufacturing. Keith serves on the board of One Dublin and lives in Dublin, Ohio, with his wife and two daughters.

KYLE TOOMBS
CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER
Kyle is responsible for driving strategic growth, expanding geographic reach, and developing customizable logistics solutions. He has over a decade of experience in cross-border logistics, operations, and warehousing. As CSO, Kyle focuses on EASE’s strategic growth, including the expansion of the company’s geographic footprint and development of EASE’s customizable services and solutions.
He earned his B.S. in Management with a concentration in International Business and Marketing from Purdue University. He went on to achieve his MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in 2018. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and children (a son and twin daughters) and their mini golden doodle, Lindey.

ABBI FAILLA
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Abbi leads all business administration teams across EASE including Marketing, ESG, Human Resources, and Technology. She has over 20 years of experience in strategy, innovation, and performance transformation and joined EASE in 2021, founding its first Strategy and Innovation department. Her work has helped EASE earn national recognition, including Fortune’s Most Innovative Transportation Company (2023) and Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas Award (2024). Abbi also leads EASE’s role in DriveOhio’s automated trucking initiatives.
An Ohio University alumna and lifelong Dublin, Ohio resident, she’s passionate about innovation, social impact, and working to make a difference in the communities where we live and work.

SCOTT MCDOWELL
VP OF OPERATIONS
Scott drives operations forward, overseeing the growth of Customer Operations, Client Services, Support Operations, and our Global Resource teams through education, training and performance reviews. He earned his bachelor's degree at Bowling Green State University and spent 17 years in the hospitality industry, where he gained a mastery of the type of time-sensitive and demanding work that he now oversees at EASE in the logistics industry. Scott lives in Delaware with his wife and three daughters.

KONRAD WARZYCHA
VP OF COMPLIANCE
Konrad leads compliance operations, including carrier administration and claims. With over a decade at EASE, he brings deep institutional knowledge and industry expertise. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Konrad is a first-generation immigrant from Poland and lives in Dublin, OH, with his wife and two sons.

KEITH BROWN
DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER OPERATIONS
Keith supervises the operations division at EASE, ensuring operational superiority, enhanced customer contentment, and coherence with the organization’s strategic objectives. After graduating from Wright State University, he initiated his career in logistics, assuming roles including Business Analyst, Senior Operations Manager, Distribution Manager, and General Manager. Accumulating 16 years of comprehensive experience, he has directed a 3PL automotive crossdock, a multi-client distribution facility, and asset management operations. Keith values dedicating time to his spouse and their two golden retrievers, Leo and Sophie, engaging in outdoor pursuits, and sustaining a health-focused lifestyle.

MATTHEW CASEY
FINANCIAL REPORTING & BUDGETING MANAGER
Matt leads financial reporting and budgeting across all areas of EASE. He brings over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, with more than half of his career spent in the transportation industry. His background spans all facets of the supply chain, from LTL and full truckload to intermodal, warehousing, and logistics.
Since joining EASE, Matt has focused on building scalable, efficient financial processes that enhance accuracy, drive continuous improvement, and support long-term growth. He takes a strategic yet hands-on approach to financial leadership, ensuring compliance while identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and change management. Outside of work, Matt enjoys coaching his sons’ youth sports teams, spending time with his wife of over 20 years, their two boys, and their French Bulldog. He is also a proud supporter of the Autism Society of Central Ohio.

NICK GAMRATH
DIRECTOR OF CLIENT SERVICES
Nick leads the Client Services team, ensuring accurate load scheduling and 24/7 customer service. With EASE since its earliest days, Nick helped to create the client services department in order to provide round-the-clock customer service and provide visibility on all shipments. As the company continues to evolve, he looks forward to growing his skillset by finding ways to innovate and automate tasks that will allow his team to scale accordingly. A graduate of Ohio University, Nick earned a BS in Aviation Flight and went on to obtain a private pilot’s license and teach as a certified flight instructor. He plans to maintain this hobby well into old age. Nick has been with EASE for more than ten years. He resides in Delaware, OH with his wife Liz, and their two sons Miles and Wesley.

LEAH KRACHT
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Leah oversees EASE’s first and support shift operations, leading strategic planning and process optimization. She oversees strategic planning, decision-making, and process optimization for customer and carrier relationships, load bookings, and compliance.
Since joining EASE in 2021 as an operations manager, Leah advanced to a director role, leveraging her experience in Amazon’s distribution sector. An Ohio State graduate in operations management, she was recognized as a 2023 Food Logistics Women in Supply Chain award recipient. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs, Tucker and Griffin

MIKE RILL
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Mike leads business development across all of EASE (both EASE Logistics and EASE Expedited). With nearly 20 years of experience, he develops high-impact logistics solutions and external partnerships. Before joining EASE in 2021, Mike spent seven years at Rogue Fitness and over eight years in Honda’s supply chain with CEVA Logistics and as a contractor for the Defense Logistics Agency.
He holds a degree from Wittenberg University and an APICS Certification in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD). Mike is also a Board Member at the Columbus Roundtable Chapter of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and a two-time recipient of the Supply and Demand Chain Executive’s “Pros to Know” Award. Outside of work, he enjoys training, rucking, music, and rooting for Joe Burrow.

ERICA SEYMOUR
DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY
Erica leads IT Operations, Tech Products, Analytics & Automation, and Integrations & Engineering at EASE. She brings cross-functional teams together under a unified tech vision, focused on delivering scalable, efficient solutions that drive business performance and open new opportunities for growth. Since joining EASE in June 2023 she has quickly advanced, playing a key role in shaping the company’s technology strategy through thoughtful, well-timed tech adoption that empowers teams and enhances the customer experience.
A core part of Erica’s work is leading AI evaluation and implementation across the organization, identifying use cases where advanced technology can improve outcomes and unlock efficiency. Her approach ensures tech investments are purposeful, aligned with business goals, and built for long-term impact. Erica holds a B.S. in Logistics from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business and an MBA in Business Analytics from the University of Dayton. Outside of work, she enjoys time outdoors with her husband, their three children, and two dogs.

THOMAS VAUGHN
CONTROLLER
Thomas provides technical accounting expertise across all of EASE, driving improvements to financial processes, while overseeing planning, reporting, budgeting, cash management, and GAAP compliance, managing the full close process, and leading day-to-day accounting operations including customer invoicing and vendor management. He brings over 14 years of experience in transportation and logistics, most notably from his time at Knight-Swift Holdings, LLC, where he held roles in dispatch, fuel management, and accounting.
Since joining EASE, Thomas has taken a hands-on approach to building scalable processes, driving operational efficiency, and developing a high-performing accounting team. He plays a key role in cross-functional collaboration and serves as a trusted advisor to business leadership, ensuring financial processes are not only compliant but also positioned to support long-term growth. Outside of work, Thomas enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time outdoors with his wife Nikki, their two young children, and their German Shepherd mix, Leia.
