How EASE Logistics kept a global automotive OEM’s production lines moving when the industry’s largest brokers couldn’t.

THE EASE SOLUTION

EASE had been onboarded as a spot recovery carrier for this account just months prior, in November 2025, with limited initial volume. When the OEM’s supply chain team reached out at the height of the storm, EASE responded immediately – stepping in as the primary carrier and taking over freight the incumbent brokers could not cover. EASE’s carrier network and crisis-response model allowed them to source and deploy available capacity quickly, moving high-priority freight across the affected region for both the OEM’s facilities and their supplier base.

THE RESULT

The results reflected a swift and sustained escalation of trust. EASE went from limited test shipments to serving as the OEM’s primary storm-recovery carrier in a matter of weeks — with load volume growing more than 900% between November 2025 and January 2026.

Across five consecutive months, EASE maintained a tender acceptance rate of 95% or better – including a perfect 100% during the peak disruption months of November and December. By February, even as the immediate crisis normalized, EASE remained an active, trusted carrier partner.

As a direct result of EASE’s support, the OEM was able to maintain plant production targets throughout the storm disruption, avoiding costly line stoppages; support their tier 1 and tier 2 supplier base with emergency capacity when other brokers could not deliver; and build a reliable, high-performing carrier relationship that continued delivering well after the storm passed.
