EASE Logistics’s CEO is recognized as an influential individual in the industry whose achievements, hard work, and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain.
Food Logistics has named Peter Coratola Jr., president and CEO of EASE Logistics, as one of the winners of this year’s Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award. The award recognizes influential individuals in the industry whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain.
“Not all rock stars are famous musicians,” said Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “There are several rock stars in the cold chain, promoting workforce development, solving supply chain disruptions, mitigating risks, and helping to heal the supply chain.”
Peter founded EASE with the goal of making third-party logistics better and making a lasting impact in the industry, in his community, and in the lives of his employees. He and his team are finding new ways to reimagine how EASE operates to provide better customer support for customers, including those in the food and cold storage supply chain.
“I am honored to be recognized as among some of the most influential individuals in the cold storage supply chain,” said Peter Coratola Jr. “Shippers with cold storage have an added layer of stress because their products are time and temperature sensitive.
Through 24/7/365 coverage, carrier vetting, and ongoing reporting, EASE’s customers can trust that we will make the process as stress-free and transparent as possible!”
Many of these winners are actively involved in understanding customers’ needs, creating problem-solving solutions, ensuring the safe transport of cold food and beverages, and adopting sustainable measures. Recipients of this year’s award will be profiled in Food Logistics’ Jan/Feb 2023 print issue. Go to https://foodl.me/5rwho7 to view the complete list of winners.
