[Dublin, Ohio – June 17, 2024] In the fast-paced world of supply chain management, innovation is key to staying ahead of the curve. That’s why EASE Logistics is thrilled to be named a 2024 Top Supply Chain Projects Award winner by Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. This prestigious award recognizes companies that have implemented groundbreaking projects to automate, optimize, streamline, and improve the supply chain.

EASE’s win is a testament to its commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the industry, particularly through its investment in automated truck testing. In 2022, EASE was selected as the host fleet partner for the Ohio Rural Automated Driving Systems (ADS) Project, focused on the deployment of automated trucking technology on customer freight shipments in collaboration with DriveOhio, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), Transportation Research Center (TRC), and other notable partners. EASE is proud to stand as one of the first  to deploy automated trucking technology on customer freight shipments in the U.S.

“This advancement is not just about embracing new technology; it’s about rethinking how supply chains can operate more effectively in an ever-evolving marketplace,” said Peter Coratola Jr., president and CEO of EASE. “Automated truck testing enables precise and consistent assessments of truck performance, ensuring that each vehicle meets stringent criteria for safety and efficiency before hitting the road. This proactive approach to fleet management not only enhances the reliability of deliveries but also promotes a more sustainable operation. We are collecting data to determine the potential positive impact of this technology.”

EASE was named  #1 in Transportation on Fortune’s list of America’s Most Innovative Companies and is a six-time Inc. 5000 company, an Inbound Logistics Top 100 3PL, a Women in Trucking Top Company for Women to Work for in Transportation, and the #7 fastest-growing company in Central Ohio, according to Columbus Business First Magazine.

“The past 12 months has seen companies within the supply chain and logistics space upgrade, enhance, adopt and adapt in order to achieve greater efficiency along the chain,” says Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “Companies implemented others’ software and technology to work smarter, together. Their partnerships cultivated resilience and placed a spotlight on projects designed to make the supply chain space safer and more efficient. And, now it’s time to celebrate those projects!”
