MARYSVILLE, OHIO – EASE and Becknell Industrial hosted a Groundbreaking Ceremony on October 4th to celebrate construction of the new Logistics Center at 33 Innovation Park in Marysville.
Said EASE President and CEO, Peter Coratola, Jr.. “We’re very excited to have an expanded footprint in Marysville. Our Logistics Center is probably going to be the best-looking warehouse this side of the Mississippi.”
The new EASE Logistics Center is slated to reach completion in Q2 of 2024 and will feature state-of-the-art logistics and warehousing amenities. EASE has also earmarked a portion of the building, dubbed the Innovation Sandbox, to serve as a testing ground and incubator designed to foster innovation and collaboration. This space will be a blank slate for those passionate about advancing the industry through creative problem-solving and testing potential new-to-market technologies.
“This is a remarkable project. It’s more than 300,000 sq. ft., it’s a $30 million investment, and 90 new full-time jobs with a pay roll of more than$5.2 million. That says a lot and that means a lot to the city of Marysville, and we thank you for your belief in Marysville,” said Economic Development Director of Marysville, Eric Phillips.
EASE’s outstanding partnership with Becknell Industrial, Lee & Associates, the City of Marysville, Ohio USA, Union County-Marysville Economic Development, and the Beta District, has facilitated this continued expansion in Central Ohio, and Coratola was visibly moved as he spoke of EASE’s impact on the local economy.
