(Dublin, OH, August 4) Abbi Failla, EASE Vice President of Business Solutions, has been recognized as a 2023 Columbus Business First Smart 50 honoree – and additionally as the winner of the Smart 50 Innovation Award.
On the evening of August 5, Failla and 49 other Columbus Smart 50 honorees were recognized as the top executives in the Central Ohio region for their ability to build and lead successful organizations. Failla was one of three honorees to receive additional specialty awards, which were awarded by a peer-review panel for notable achievements in the areas of impact, sustainability, and innovation.

Under Failla’s direction, EASE has established strategic partnerships for innovation with the City of Dublin, IC3D Printing, DriveOhio, KRATOS Defense & Security Systems, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), and many other notable organizations.
EASE is the chosen host fleet partner for DriveOhio and ODOT’s Rural Automated Driving Systems (ADS) project, deploying automated and connected trucks for customer freight shipments for the first time in the U.S. The project has caught the attention of industry giants and continues to elevate EASE as a leader of logistics innovation – all the way to top in transportation on Forbes’ list of America’s Most Innovative Companies (2023).
