(Dublin, OH, July 20) Smart Business Columbus has named EASE Vice President of Business Operations Abbi Failla as a 2023 Smart 50 Award honoree. Since 2014, the Columbus Smart 50 awards recognize the top executives in the Central Ohio region for their ability to build and lead successful organizations. Failla is no exception; her leadership has fueled great success at EASE.
Since her arrival at EASE in 2021, Failla has made incredible strides in innovation, brand awareness, and community and industry impact. She has helped cement EASE’s identity as a forward-thinking company that embraces creativity and drives change. With her leadership, EASE was recently recognized as one of Forbes Magazine’s Most Innovative Companies in the U.S., coming in #1 in transportation.
With Failla’s direction, EASE has established strategic partnerships with the City of Dublin, IC3D Printing, DriveOhio, KRATOS Defense & Security Systems, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), to name a few. Notably, as the host fleet partner for DriveOhio and ODOT’s Rural Automated Driving Systems (ADS) project, EASE is the first to deploy automated and connected trucks on revenue-generating routes for the first time in the U.S.
Failla has also been the impetus for many of EASE’s now signature community engagement efforts, such as their partnerships with Wreaths Across America, One-Dublin Adopt-a-Family, NBC4 Stuff the Backpack, Dublin Food Pantry, the Mid-Ohio Food Collective, and EASE’s own annual Touch-A-Truck. These generous campaigns led EASE to be recognized as Columbus Business First 2023 Most Generous Company (Columbus, OH). Additionally, Failla sits on the Columbus Region Logistics Council and the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Development Board.
