Ease Logistics' unique service model allows customers to seamlessly engage an entire logistics team, 24/7, with the click of a finger. Account managers work with customers to help cut costs and minimize risks. Client services work alongside you to efficiently plan and schedule with your suppliers and customers. Logistics coordinators work for you by ensuring every detail is covered. Each team works tirelessly together to make sure every need is addressed efficiently and effectively, so you can reclaim your time.

Our Story

In January, 2020, EASE moved to a larger, innovative location this new year. The new company headquarters consists of three buildings and spans close to 12,000 square feet, nearly triple the size of their previous space. With continued company growth, this new decade was the best time for the company to find a larger location that meets their current company needs while allowing space for future expansion. This move enables EASE to continue focusing on and growing their state of the art technology, software, and data analytics, and offering their clients a full range of logistics and freight management solutions from temperature-controlled LTLs to over-dimensional hauls.

Peter Coratola

President & CEO

Peter’s lifelong zealous passion for entrepreneurship led him to capitalize on an opportunity in 2014 which established Ease Logistics Services. Under Peter’s leadership, the company has grown rapidly and continues to expand at a dramatic pace. Peter’s extensive professional background spans the client and provider sides of logistics; he utilizes this deep subject matter expertise to provide a high level of customer service to carriers, brokerages, and shippers. Prior to founding Ease, Peter was a Manager of National Accounts at a Fortune 500 brokerage for two years. He now handles critical shipments and single sourced relationships for several Fortune 500 companies. Peter holds a BSBA degree in Criminology and Supply Chain Management from The Ohio State University. Peter lives in Dublin, Ohio with his wife, Elizabeth, and his sons Peter and Benjamin.

Keith Ward

Chief Operations Officer

Keith graduated from Bellarmine University in 2001 with a double major in business and economics.  During college he worked for General Electric in the international supply chain department where he found a love for logistics.  Since then he’s accrued over fifteen years of experience in the field as an account manager for Pacer Global Logistics and a manager for the expedite and new model teams at Ceva Logistics.  At the beginning of 2018 Keith joined Ease Logistics as the manager of strategic business development.  Keith lives in Dublin with his wife and two crazy daughters.

Justin Young

Chief Financial Officer

Justin began his career in Washington D.C. working for the 5th largest public accounting firm, shortly after graduating with a degree in Accounting from Miami University in Ohio. While in D.C., Justin identified a passion for entrepreneurial ventures, and relocated to Columbus, Ohio to join the team at DOmedia, which was awarded 1st place for Columbus Business First’s Fast 50 award for 2015. At the end of 2016, Justin decided to pursue Ease Logistics, another rapidly growing startup business, and joined to run the Accounting & Finance department. Justin lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Julia and their dog Odie.

Larry Basford

Vice President of Operations

Larry attended the University of Toledo, pursuing a degree in Business Administration & Management. He also served eight years as a proud member of the Army National Guard. After many years of faithful service in our nation’s armed forces, Larry began his career in the Information Systems & Technology field, where he developed a passion for data and problem solving. An early member of Ease Logistics, Larry has quickly gained expertise, working closely with Peter Coratola to establish and expand the framework for what Ease is today and will become tomorrow.

Nick Gamrath

Director of Client Services

In January 2015, Nick accepted a full-time position at Ease Logistics to lead the development of a new Client Services department. Prior to joining Ease, Nick attended Ohio University, studying Aviation and becoming a Certified Flight Instructor before graduating in the fall of 2014. He returned to Columbus, OH in October 2014 when he joined Ease part time and contributed to its early success.

Ashley Duning

Human Resources Generalist

Ashley is an experienced Human Resources and Recruiting professional with a demonstrated history of working within the logistics industry.  Since graduating from Ohio Dominican University in 2013, Ashley has found that her passion is people.  Ashley has been able to harness her passion while working at Ease by discovering our employee’s human potential, and helping people find a great career.  Ashley is glad to have found a career where she believes she is helping others every day. 

Konrad Warzycha

RTM Operations Manager

Prior to starting at Ease Konrad attended The Ohio State University where he studied Education and played four years of Varsity Men’s Soccer.  Konrad decided to pursue soccer further and played professionall; first with Sporting Kansas City and later with the Columbus Crew.  After retiring from professional soccer Konrad decided to complete his degree in Education and started working part time with Ease.  In 2016 he joined full-time and now manages Ease’s team of Regional Territory Managers to ensure that each customer, carrier, and load is being serviced to Ease Logistics’ high standards.

Danny Caudill

General Counsel

Danny is responsible for all of the company's legal issues, which includes drafting and reviewing contracts, developing employment policies and overseeing litigation. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio, California and New York. Danny is one of the company's first employees and has been with the company since its inception. A military and law enforcement veteran, Danny attended The Ohio State University and Otterbein University. He obtained his law degree from Capital University Law School. Danny lives in Dublin, Ohio and has two children, Caitlin and Zachary, who are also both Buckeyes and military veterans.
