One of the most trusted business media brands, Inc. magazine, has named EASE Logistics one of the fastest-growing private companies in the Midwest. This inaugural list—part of the publication’s popular 5000 Series—recognizes exceptional growth across all industries in these 12 Midwestern states: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri.
To qualify for the list, companies had to meet the following qualifications: be U.S.-based, privately held, operate as a for profit business, independent, and both founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2016. Collectively, the 250 companies selected have experienced an average growth rate of 360 percent, added $13 billion to the Midwest economy, and employed more than 27,000 people. Inc. editor in chief Scott Omelianuk put it best: “ The companies on this list demonstrates just how much the small-business sector impacts the economies of each Midwestern state.”
“For EASE to be recognized alongside other forward-looking organizations and visionary entrepreneurs is truly an honor and validates our drive to be an exceptional, one-call-away logistics provider,” said Peter Coratola Jr., EASE CEO.
When Coratola founded EASE in 2014, his zealous passion for entrepreneurship fueled the company’s rapid growth, which continues at a rapid pace to this day.
“We believe our unique and unmatched customer service model contributes to our continuing success,” said Coratola. “Ensuring that every single inquiry is answered within two minutes, every quote is completed in 15 minutes, and every follow up made within a 15-minute window is challenging, but absolutely crucial to our business. EASE being ranked #88 of the most successful companies within the Midwest’s economy gives us room to grow and we look forward to racing up that list in years to come.”
Inc. is a business publication that delivers solution-driven content exclusively to entrepreneurs, owners, and managers of growing private companies. Twenty-five years after introducing Inc. 500—which showcases the top fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States—Inc. expanded the list to 5000 as a way to cultivate a deeper understanding of the broader entrepreneurial landscape. The prestige that comes from inclusion on this list puts EASE in an exclusive community of those committed to continual entrepreneurial achievement.
