Job Objective

Your role in Marketing is responsible for crafting and delivering the organization’s story and value proposition by developing, creating, and publishing optimized content for various print and digital channels . This person will work to develop effective content that supports our marketing and corporate objectives. Upholds the brand style, voice, and tone as it relates to all written and published communications.

Essential Duties:

Operational & Day to Day: 

  • Responsible for developing the content and copy for all relevant key marketing materials based on company’s objectives and needs
  • Works with marketing manager to develop brand messaging, positioning, and development
  • Professional writing skills for all marketing channels including: Print, Digital, Website, Ads, TV, Radio, etc.
  • Ensures all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and voice of brand
  • Understands how to develop search engine optimized (SEO) content for digital needs and uses Google best practices to generate traffic to our site. 
  • Works with PR, and SEO team to deliver quality content, press releases, bi-lined articles, and guest blog posts
  • Adheres to the content marketing calendar to develop and publish recurring content, new solution/service rollouts, and various deadlines including but not limited to social media, blog articles, advertisements, award submissions, white papers, case studies, drip email campaigns, and more
  • In charge of drafting and writing copy for any/all emails, ads, sales enablement collateral, blogs, whitepapers/ebooks, website copy, newsletters, social media, and more. 
  • Works with HR and assists with writing web-based training modules as needed
  • Collaborates with the marketing team and vendors to develop innovative content ideas that align with marketing and corporate strategies 
  • Reviews and edits content produced by other members of the organization
  • Comfortably switch context between multiple projects, including last-minute drills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Be an enthusiastic visionary with a positive and proactive attitude.

Qualifications

  • B.A. in marketing, communications, advertising, English, writing, or related field 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with experience writing for a variety of platforms 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices; with at least three years of professional writing, digital marketing/SEO/content marketing work.
  • Ability to be a team-player and collaborate effectively with various members of the organization.
  • Highly meticulous, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and innovative.
  • B2B Professional Services Experience Preferred but not required
  • Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Knowledge a PLUS, but not required
  • Experience with content management systems, email marketing software, WordPress, and other content management systems preferred.
